Comprising two models to cover all outdoor pursuits, the Overland is the new “backdoor go-to” for those who require a boot that’s ready for any job or adventure at any time.
The Overland comes in the Overland Hi (over-the-calf) and Overland Mid (mid-calf). Both models are distinguished by their DS1 high-traction rubber molded outsoles. The aggressive tread blocks and high durability natural rubber construction provide optimal grip on the sloppiest terrain. Additional features defining the Overland series include an EVA midsole that helps block the cold, a removable molded EVA sock liner, and a nylon shank for stability.
As with all Dryshod waterproof boots, the Overland Hi and Overland Mid are 100-percent waterproof, top to bottom. Each boot is built around a 5mm DENSOPRENE® insulated foam bootie that is triple stitched and treated with HYDROKOTE® to repel surface water. This ability to repel water and mud from the textile surface means Dryshod boots will not absorb water or become soggy like conventional neoprene upper boots on the market.
To further keep feet dry and comfortable, Dryshod boots include a 4-way stretch breathable airmesh lining. This unique lining construction utilizes structured top and bottom layers separated by thousands of vertical fibers to provide continual air circulation when walking, allowing feet to breathe and minimizing moisture buildup. Other standard features include a roll-down calf pipe, hand-laid natural rubber overlays (no PVC, PU, or TPR), double-reinforced toe and triple-reinforced heel areas, reinforced tuck boards for added stability, back pull tabs, a generous kick heel for easy boot removal, and a comfortable profile sized to athletic-shoe standards.

The new Legend MXT is a multi-tasking waterproof boot developed for maximum protection and traction in all conditions and seasons. The upgraded MXT cupped outsole is designed to deliver superior traction and support on challenging terrain. Aggressive, multi-directional tread blocks provide a tenacious grip on soil, snow, and rocks while the cupped outsole offers added protection and support. A steel shank arch support enhances stability and reduces fatigue for hours of comfortable wear.

Saturday was a day with lots of snow at the farm, so I put on my Big Bobbies and loaded my van for the Farmer’s Market. I decided to grab a pair of shoes and put them in the van, in case I needed them. I never did. I wore my Big Bobbies all day long.
The Farmer’s Market is inside in Cooperstown on concrete. By the end of the day, my feet felt wonderful. They were never cold, never hot. (I think the Muck Boots I have worn would have been hot during the day.) They did not hurt at all.
I broke my ankle almost 4 months ago. I’ve had been looking for some simple rubber boots that wouldn’t hurt it as much. I was in Mack’s prairie wings in Stuttgart Arkansas this past Saturday and I saw y’all boots. I tried on the ankle boot and I decided to buy them and give them a try. They are the most comfortable rubber boots I have ever worn. They feel good with my ankle and everything. I’m glad i went ahead and spent the money on them.

I have had many pairs of Muck boots over the years, and remember when they came on the market. Great boots. I know that you were involved with that brand, and have now started Dryshod. I see the Muck DNA in your new boots, but I can also see where you have further advanced the idea.
The first thing I noticed is the greater comfort, and fit. The second thing I noticed, especially for a heavy duty winter boot, is how light they are. During a long day, this makes a world of difference. I took a two mile walk this morning with my dogs, the temps in the low single digits. My feet have never stayed so warm in such a light boot. The tread grips on all winter surfaces, and I could have walked many more miles.
I am someone that needs my clothing and footwear to take a pounding. I seek out products that have a pure sense of purpose and design. I work outside all year. I’m either in the woods or building stone walls in the summer. Time is also spent in barns, basements, etc. My feet are either in mud, snow or barn slop. I look at my clothing and footwear as a kind of armor. Durable, well made gear can also provide a sense of protection.

Only thing I would change is if the purple and black had been available in the store I’d have bought them instead of the pink, but that’s OK. I have a three times broken foot and my first pair of muck boots were so comfortable I wore them all the time for chores. As time went on and I had different pairs they got more and more uncomfortable – I thought it was me. UNTIL I put my new Dry Shod Legends on. I have worn them almost all day every day for the last two weeks – foot pain is almost non-existent. If I keep them dry inside they are also pretty warm too, for the most part (our highs have been single digits and low teens for days. Thanks for a great boot! I’m telling everyone.
